Sköllersta Parish is looking for cemetery workers for the 2026 season

The Cemetery and Property Unit is part of the Church of Sweden in Pålsboda, Sköllersta, Svennevad, and Hjortkvarn. We are responsible for the maintenance of the cemeteries and properties belonging to the parish. We offer you a varied job and the opportunity to work in a culturally and historically interesting environment.

What do we offer?

As a cemetery worker with us, you will perform all common tasks such as grass trimming, leaf management, planting and caring for plants, hedge trimming, weed control, and cleaning.

You will be responsible, together with your colleagues, for ensuring that the tasks are performed correctly and safely.

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who is positive and enjoys being outdoors regardless of the weather. You are responsible, service-oriented, and have good teamwork skills. You enjoy working both in a group and independently. Good physical fitness is important, as the work is often physically demanding.

You feel comfortable in the environment that the cemetery represents and have the ability to meet both colleagues and visitors with respect and understanding.

We want you to have a gardening education or have acquired equivalent knowledge through work experience.
